Airtable + Burrak AI
Turn an Airtable base into something an agent can read, fill and maintain.
Airtable is where a lot of real operational data lives — pipelines, content calendars, inventories, applicant trackers. The tedious part is keeping it current. An agent can do the filling in: researching the blank fields, normalising what people typed by hand, and flagging the rows that contradict each other.
In the connector catalogue: Read bases, query tables, write records.
Things you could ask for
Written the way you would actually say them. An agent plans the steps itself.
- “For every company in this base with an empty “industry” field, research it and fill the field in.”
- “Check this content calendar for weeks with nothing scheduled and suggest topics for them.”
- “Find rows where the status and the date disagree, and list what looks wrong.”
- “Take these raw survey responses and categorise each one by theme in a new field.”
- “Every Monday, summarise what changed in this base over the past week.”
Connecting it
- 1Create a Burrak account — the free plan is enough to try this.
- 2Open Connectors and choose Airtable.
- 3Authorise Burrak in Airtable's own window. Your password never reaches us; we receive a token you can revoke whenever you like.
- 4Give an agent a task. It will use the connector when the work calls for it.
Airtable and Burrak, in practice
- Will it overwrite data I already have?
- It fills what you ask it to fill. A brief like “fill the empty industry fields” touches only empty ones. If you want it to correct existing values, say so — and consider asking for a list of proposed changes first.
- How large a base can it handle?
- It works through a base in passes rather than loading it whole, so size is less of a limit than clarity: a well-named field it can reason about matters more than the row count.
- Can it create new tables and fields?
- Within the access you grant. In practice the better pattern is to create the structure yourself and let the agent populate it — you know what the base is for, and it does not.
