Local vs remote agents
Run agents on your own machine, or in the cloud around the clock.
Burrak offers two kinds of agents. Most people use both, depending on the task.
Local agents
A local agent runs on your own computer through the desktop app. It has direct access to the files and projects on that machine, which makes it ideal for hands-on work where your code and data already live locally.

Remote agents
A remote agent runs in the cloud, 24/7. You can assign it a task and close your laptop — it keeps working and notifies you when it is finished. Remote agents are perfect for long-running jobs and anything you want handled while you are away.

- Ideal for long or scheduled tasks and overnight work.
- Delivers results to your apps and notifications when ready.
Which should I use?
Use a local agent when the work is tied to your machine and you want to watch it happen. Use a remote agent when you want the job done in the background, on its own schedule, without keeping your computer awake.
