Skills, roles & marketplace
Extend what your agents can do — and who they are — from the built-in marketplace.
The marketplace is where you extend your agents. It is built into every app and organised into a few sections:
- Skills — packaged capabilities that give agents ready-made expertise, like producing polished office documents or handling email.
- Services — external tools your agents can call on as part of a task.
- Connectors — secure links to the products your work lives in (see Connectors & integrations).
- Roles — hundreds of ready-made personas, from copywriter to data analyst, that you can assign to an agent to shape how it works.
Skills
Skills are packaged capabilities that give your agents new, ready-made expertise — for example, producing polished office documents or handling a specialised kind of task. You add a skill once and it becomes available to your agents. Curated, first-party skills are available to use right away.
Roles
A role gives an agent a personality and a specialism. Assign one when you create an agent (or change it later) and every task that agent takes on is approached through that lens — so you can keep, say, a research analyst and a copy editor side by side.
Using skills in tasks
Once a skill is enabled, Burrak draws on it automatically when a task calls for it — you simply describe what you want, and the right capability is applied.
Skills you add are available across your agents so you only set them up once.
